FIELD OF GENERAL MAINTENANCE and URBAN FURNISHING

Since the early 1970’s FIMET SPA has been in an ongoing contractual relationship with municipal agencies for the realization of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance contracts for utility and road systems.

In addition to generic maintenance work new lines have also been created with the relative utility lines for district heating, water, gas and sewers.

Through these contracts, entire neighborhoods have been requalified, methane lines have been installed in numerous outlying towns and new utility networks have been built for new settlements in Brescia, Bergamo, Milan, Verona and numerous other areas.

Every year the company’s personnel take courses to certify them to work for national and international agencies for the realization of high, medium and low tension underground lines, electrical stations and connections of every type.

The evolution of municipal agencies in recent years has consequently led to new types of work to be performed with the creation of numerous illumination plants, also artistic ones, in archeological sites and places of historical importance (the Duomo of Brescia, the Duomo of Piacenza, museum itineraries in the city of Brescia, etc..).

Also in the field of the regulatory field FIMET SPA has become specialized in the realization of intelligent traffic light systems controlled by magnetic detectors. In recent years many municipal utility providers, particularly the ASM SPA group, has restructured the company by dividing it into specific departments assigned to transportation, mobility and parking.

In this field our company has created numerous sites called HML (High Mobility Lines) for urban/environmental requalification by improving the city’s public transportation with the creation of preferential routes for public transportation and with the efficient management of city parking lots.
